Women

The Stonebrook Women's Ministry exists to support and encourage women in proclaiming the gospel and living gospel-centered lives through belief in, love for, and obedience to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Our Aim

Love and obedience to God's word is put into action through consistent gathering for fellowship, in-depth bible study, discipleship, friendship, and accountability. Through this ministry, women find opportunities to display faith by loving and serving one another, the church body and the community at large. We aim to be women above reproach, to live and love by the power of the holy spirit, holding fast to and abiding in the righteousness of Christ given to us as a gift of grace.

  • Women’s Ministry Kick-off Worship Night (September 11, 2026, 7:00pm-9:30pm): Join us as we begin a new season together with an evening centered on Christ, rest, and community. We'll spend our first hour lifting our voices in worship, reading God's Word, and praying together as we seek the Lord and prepare our hearts for the year ahead focused on our theme of God-given rest. Afterward, stay for a relaxed coffeehouse-style fellowship featuring a coffee bar, refreshing Italian sodas, appetizer-sized desserts, fun door prizes, and plenty of time to connect with old friends and meet new ones. Register Here.
  • Women’s Bible Studies: Bible Studies are offered in the fall, winter, and summer seasons. The material for each bible study is thoroughly vetted by the Women's Ministry Director and the Lead Teaching Pastor.
  • Fall Bible Study: Made for Him – Rest in Christ for Restless Hearts: Thursday mornings at 10:00am and evenings at 7:00pm from September 24-November 5. Register Here.

  • Fall Prayer & Journal Time (September 26th): Come join us for intentional quiet time with the Lord. Join us at McFarland Park on September 26th from 9:00am–11:00am, where we can enjoy God’s beautiful creation as we slow down and meditate on who He is. These two hours are set aside just for you. Our prayer is that you would leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and closer to God through this intentional time of rest and reflection. Register Here.
  • Come Away & Rest Awhile Retreats: Come Away and Rest Awhile Retreats are designed to give women intentional space to step away from the demands and noise of everyday life and spend unhurried time with the Lord. These retreats will be offered on three different dates throughout this year. (October, January, April) at Hidden Acres Christian Center & Riverside Bible Camp. From Friday evening through Sunday midday, you’ll have space to rest, reflect, pray, worship, read God’s Word, sleep or simply be still. There will be opportunities for meaningful fellowship around meals, but much of the weekend will be self-directed. Take a walk. Sit quietly with your Bible. Journal. Enjoy a cup of coffee. Pray. Take a nap. Spend time in silence. Or simply sit and enjoy being in the presence of the Lord.

  • Bibles & Breakfast Bible Study Event (February 20, 2027): Similar to our past well-loved half-day bible events but completed in a shorter time frame focused on one single scripture passage.
